No display? Not Good…

The HDMI port is the most hardworking part of your console, but it’s also the most fragile. Most HDMI ports are only built to handle being plugged in and out about 5,000 to 10,000 times. While that seems like a lot, the 19 tiny pins inside are thinner than a human hair. If the cable is wiggled too much, it can snap the tiny metal legs connecting the port to the “brain” of the console. Shoving a cable in while reaching behind a TV is the #1 cause of bent pins.
